Happy Valentine’s Day!
Love certainly is in the air today. With that in mind I have decided to start our new year’s romantic resolution today.

Every busy business owner knows that there are never enough hours in the day to complete all those outstanding jobs, let alone the exciting projects milling around in a creative persons head!
I have decided that 2015 is a good time to start a feature that I have wanted to do for such a long time. Real Weddings! I really need to stop keeping these a secret and start to blog some of our wonderful real weddings, which have taken place over the last few years. I have some wonderful memories of these days and now it’s time to share them with you all.
These will be written in our couples own words, along with some input from myself when needed. I cannot wait to post the first one… watch this space and let’s see some lovely couples on their special day.
In the meantime I have some lovely inspiration coming up for next year’s weddings and a lovely grey colour palette that is just to die for.
Much love on this loving day 😉
To anyone who juggles many things in life, you will know what I mean when I say there never are enough hours in the day. The fact is though that there also shouldn’t be.
I have recently been poorly for what has seemed like months, well it has been actually, 8 weeks of flu like symptoms that I just couldn’t shake. The problem is that when you work for yourself you can’t really take enough time off when needed so I think it stuck around to bug me, quite literally ;). I have completed some beautiful weddings in between and met with some lovely couples, I just couldn’t keep up with the social side, so sorry for it being quiet here at Eve Lily!
So I am pretty much back to good health so back on form with lots to share.
With this being the start of some more wonderful wedding fayres, I am really pleased to be involved in the stunning new POP UP WEDDING VILLAGE.
I’ll be posting more details about the wedding village in due course which also includes free tickets for some of our lucky clients to come along!
Stay tuned people, lots of love Nicola xx
Time is ticking……..
It’s nearing the end of the year and 2013. Whilst everyone is getting into the Christmas spirit, we are taking a little quiet time today to update you on what we have been up to.

What a hectic end to the year it has been. We have managed to fill our time with so much, from catching up with our existing clients, completing weddings (with some real beauties, the brides and their venues!) to meeting lots of new clients with their exciting wedding plans and ideas, that we are able to get creative with for this year and next.
We have also been planning lots and lots of exciting events for brides who really want to see the best the wedding industry has to offer! I have some dates for next year to tell you about soon, these will be for our Eve Lily Wedding Shows as well as wedding fair’s that we will be exhibiting at, plus our Charity Wedding Fashion Show, which we will be hosting in January in aid of Wishes4kids. I will be blogging about this event later today, its going to be one not to miss and with so much information it has to be done all on its lonesome!!
And what a year it’s been for photo shoots and exciting projects, I am so excited to say that a number of our shoots we have styled or designed through this last year have been featured or are about to be featured, we can’t wait for you to see them. Don’t worry; we will let you know when they go live. One which is all glamour and gold will be very soon indeed!
Lots of love N xx
Such a lovely weekend. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to mix business and pleasure together and this weekend I was able to, and loved it!
I had the pleasure of being able to go and support a wonderful charity event that was organised on behalf of a stunning and strong little girl who is fighting Leukemia as I type. There are many inspirational people in life and little Isla truly is one of them, at 5 years old, she still caries a smile whilst battling the horrible disease. I can only imagine her smiles and happiness continues to give her family strength as it’s an emotional journey that no one should have to go through. Well done to all involved and it was a real pleasure to be part of something that is such a worthy cause.
I hope you raised plenty of money, and I hope the fantastic charity CLIC Sargent continues to be supported for the great work they do.
I also had the pleasure of taking part in the Lumbers Wedding Event on Saturday, to all who came, it was lovely to see you and I’m sure you managed to find rings in the 2000 or so that were there to look through! Well done Lumbers and we are looking forward to many more wonderful events.
We hope you all had a lovely weekend and have a great start to the week ahead! x
